The Way of Transformation - Part 1
Once we understand that paradigms are the primary cause of our behaviors and results in life then we can start to implement a method that leads to permanent change.
Remember that paradigms are a part of our subconscious mind that determines how we filter input from our senses and how we think about the world around us. In fact, paradigms dictate the logic we use to analyze everything in our life. This logical construct in turn keep us hard wired into our current conditions which we find are so hard to break out of.
Therefore any attempt to change our paradigm will require imagination and effort. At first this method may seem crazy or silly. There is actually good reason for this perception. If we are trapped in a logical construct that is not serving us, any attempt to change our paradigm will be foreign to that structure and hence illogical.
The new ideas which our imagination generates will necessarily be dissonant to our current vibration. But if we apply ourselves with persistence to the action steps necessary we can realize the change we want to see.
One practical method to effect paradigm change makes use of the universal law of polarity. Every attribute in the universe has it’s opposite. Hot/Cold. Up/Down. Inside/ Outside – and so on. This includes the ideas in our minds. For every negative idea we can identify we can imagine a positive opposite.
We can use this law to our advantage by first carefully looking at the results we currently see in our lives.
Among our current results some will be positive and some will be negative. Start by choosing to focus on one negative result that you want to change. Write that negative result on a piece of paper. Clearly describe what it is that you are seeing in your life that is not what you want.
Then on another piece of paper write down what the polar opposite of that result would be. Begin with “I am so happy and grateful now that . . .” then write as clearly as you can what it is you want to see in your life.
Now take the paper with the negative result and shred it. Or better yet burn it.
This may seem like a strange thing to do but it has powerful symbolic value to your subconscious. Go ahead and actually burn it up.
Then take the positive result you have written down and repeat it to yourself over and over. Memorize it. Write it out multiple times in a notebook.
Repeat this recitation and writing of the positive result everyday consistently. It may seem boring and illogical but keep doing it.
Eventually that new positive statement will be embedded in your subconscious mind so strongly that you will actually bring about a dramatic change in your behavior and subsequent results. And the old thought you burned up will weaken and disappear.
